The proposal was submitted
by MIT College of Engineering, Pune for establishing a Technology
Business Incubator and the meeting of the Expert Advisory Committee held on
30th November 2015 and 1st December 2015 at IIT Bombay to discuss the proposal.
The proposal was presented by Prof. Manish Patil with his team,
MIT TBI chief mentor Mr. Ashok Saraf, Jr. Incubation Manager Ms. Priyanka
Bansode and Financial Mentor Ms. Pallavi Salunke. The Committee commissioned
and recommended the proposal with total DST contribution of
Rs.500.00 lakhs (Rs.250.00 lakhs in Recurring and Rs.250.00 lakhs in
Capital) for five years.
The process and required
formalities are inline and the team is working on it.
We are establishing strong association with NCL venture center, Pune, for the benefit of our incubatees. Under their fractal development program, NCL venture center shall be extending their valuable support to strengthen foundation and operations of MITTBI. Under special agreement all budding entrepreneurs shall get benefited through resources and support from NCL venture center, Pune.
We have shortlisted the top cities of India and reputed colleges and Institutions
in those cities where we are visiting personally to get best quality
and innovative projects from engineering students. Those projects / project
ideas can be shortlisted to present their innovation and will be facilitated
by the offer of incubation under MITTBI for mentor ship and funds from
angel investors.
Under this MOU, Eitra will
facilitate the students to carry out their trainings and project works.
Utilization of the labs for research work. Certification programs endorsed by
eiTRA and other Industry( MIT LEAD and NASSCOM), if applicable sharing joint
responsibility of maintaining quality of the programs. Sharing of Subjects at
BE/ ME Level, Faculty Development Program,
Faculty coming as expert to our organization Execution of Research led projects with the team from both
the parties.
